In 2017 Matej went to Ghana with his colleagues from the Institute of Vertebrate Biology (CZE)and he attended a conference focused on the African amphibians. The team combined the field work with the presentation of their previous reasearch. A short documentary film Wandering in Ghana shows the nature and a culture of this Western African country. It is worth to mention the finding of the nest with freshly hatched babies of crocodile from genus Osteolaemus or a close encounter with elephants. This film was produced in Czech and English language.
